Capital Area Food Bank Volunteer Event: Sat., Jan. 21

We are forming a group to volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank on Saturday, January 21, from 1-4pm.

Christmas Party: January 8

Celebrate the end of this year’s festive season with the ND club of Austin at our annual Christmas party! The Christmas party occurs during the winter break and current students and families are welcome to attend. As in years past, we will have door prizes for the attendees.

The Party is on Sunday, January 8 from 3-7pm at the home of Walter & Sue Saad.

The Christmas Party will be a “potluck” dinner event. The Saads will generously provide the main course and we ask you to bring the side dishes.

ND TX license plates available on Nov. 21

The Texas Notre Dame license plate will officially launch on Monday, November 21. To order, on or after November 21, go to myplates.com/go/nd.

Brown Santa: Sun., Dec. 4, 1-3pm

Our annual Brown Santa volunteer event will take place on Sunday, December 4, from 1-3pm. The event involves wrapping donated toys for needy children. Just show up and be ready to wrap – the toys and the wrapping paper will already be there.

Texas Tailgate during USC weekend

State of Texas Tailgate - Saturday, October 22, 12 – 4pm, Library Parking Lot (look for the Texas Flags)

The Notre Dame Clubs of Austin, El Paso, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio AND the Notre Dame Student Club of Texas invite you a tailgater this Saturday. The Notre Dame Student Club of Texas will provide the food (Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Brats). The Notre Dame Clubs will provide the drinks. So stop by, visit with friends and enjoy some food before you watch ND beat USC.

Volunteer Event with the Texas Advocacy Project

The ND Club of Austin is teaming up with Texas Advocacy Project to provide volunteer support for their large annual fundraising event on Friday evening, October 14th.

Air Force Gamewatch: Sat. Oct. 8, 2:30pm

We will be at B.D. Riley’s on Saturday, October 8 to watch Notre Dame play the Air Force Academy. Kickoff is at 2:30pm Central Time.

Career Resources Event: Tues., Sept. 20

Mike Brown from the University’s Alumni Association will host a presentation and networking event from 6:30-8pm on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Joining Mike for a career and job market round table discussion will be several local alumni guest speakers. The event will be held in the Kocurek Room on the first floor of the Chase Tower at 221 W 6th Street, Austin, TX 78701.

Pitt Gamewatch: Sat., Sept. 24 at 11am

We will be at B.D. Riley’s on Saturday, Sept. 24 to watch Notre Dame play the Pittsburgh Panthers. Kickoff is at 11am.
